I've just had an inquiry from a second AS7E2 asking about the differences between WTY and Big-Y. I told him scale and method and sent him a link to the description at FTDNA. Is there anything else I should send? What he really wants to know, I'm sure, is the probability that the test will help answer his genealogical questions, and the most I can say is that Big-Y, with a valid comparison, is a big step in that direction, but not the end game.--at least not yet.
