    3. I did not ask for a list of the 10 million loci, just the beginning and end positions of the covered blocks if they assembled the chip by large blocks of sites. On the other hand maybe they have just taken the 25,000 snp locations and covered 200 sites each side of the each known snp? Now 25,000 known snp locations is no big deal. Geno2 has 12,000+ and Chromo2 has 14,000+ Do you really want a list of the Geno2 snps? I can easily send a name list to you. But positions are not given. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for someone to post a list of the 25,000 SNPs. I can't even find lists of the Geno 2.0 SNPs. And would you really want a list of the 10 million loci? Are all these CTS, PF, YSC, etc. SNPs I see on the FTDNA Results tables from the same Geno 2.0 test? Or were there other Y-DNA SNP tests that people took and uploaded to their FTDNA account? Diana

    3. Each of those sources, cts, pf, ysc, etc have their own complete lists of the snps they discovered or used in their own research. Then Geno2 chip maker and the Chromo2 chip maker in Scotland incorporated PART of those various snp series. There is partial overlap from one series to another; i.e. the same snp (location) pops up with different names in different folks' series. But we have seen that happen for many years, starting back with the S series.... I will look for your private email to send an attached excel file of the Geno2 snps Kenneth Nordtvedt Haplogroup I Clade Modalities and Trees at: http://knordtvedt.home.bresnan.net -----Original Message----- From: Diana Gale Matthiesen Sent: Thursday, January 02, 2014 1:38 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [yDNAhgI] slow-fast return of SNP test results > From: Kenneth Nordtvedt > Sent: Thursday, January 02, 2014 3:15 PM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [yDNAhgI] slow-fast return of SNP test results > <snip> > > Do you really want a list of the Geno2 snps?
