Greetings FYI. My Z test result is not due until 16 January 2012. Having been AS - Generic for so long, a few more weeks is not going to make any difference. I might even still be AS - Generic! Reply-To: y-dna-haplogroup-i@rootsweb.com Ken, At least for the Z SNP's that I have ordered, the turnaround time at FTDNA has been pretty fast. For Z138, Z139, and Z140, I ordered on 11/11/2011 and had my results back on 11/29/2011. Maybe the reason the results are dribbling in is that not many people are ordering. It seems to me that, for whatever reason, these Z-SNP's are giving more delineation in I1xL22 than we have seen in a long time, including 2 versions of the WTY project. From the results I have seen for AS-generic I1's, they have already been subdivided into at least 3 subgroups by these Z SNP's. So I, as a (former?) AS-generic I1, would strongly encourage members of our huge group to order the ones you have been mentioning: Z58, Z59, Z138, Z131, Z139, and Z140.
