    3. Implied, but not explicitly stated below, is the point that Z63+ seems to be an end-of-the-line snp presently, and Z131+ has not been found yet, and if found is also end-of-the-line according to 1000 Genomes. We have found some whole clades and generics negative for all three entry snps; and to me they are in many respects the most interesting division of I1xL22 Z158+ is the branch with more down stream Z series snps. -----Original Message----- From: Kenneth Nordtvedt Sent: Wednesday, December 07, 2011 10:37 AM To: y-dna-haplogroup-i@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [yDNAhgI] L138 for I1-AS2? -----Original Message----- From: Obed W Odom So I, as a (former?) AS-generic I1, would strongly encourage members of our huge group to order the ones you have been mentioning: Z58, Z59, Z138, Z131, Z139, and Z140. Z58 Z63, and Z131 are the "entry" snps for I1xL22 It is probably a waste of money to do Z59, Z138, Z139, Z140 unless you turn out Z58+ on the entry snps. ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to Y-DNA-HAPLOGROUP-I-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
