    3. Ken, to search YBrowse by location, for example for location 22208780, you need to enter "Chry:22208780..22208780" (without the quotation marks) in the search box. When I did this, it showed that FGC9495 is at this location. Then, by clicking on FGC9495 a new window opens showing that FGC9495 is a C to A mutation found by Full Genomes in 2014. 1. [yDNAhgI] YSEQ/net ysnp test speed
    2. Kenneth Nordtvedt
    3. I recommended several new snps found in BigY to hobbyists who then ordered them as individual snps from www.yseq.net The speed with which they received results was very impressive. After suffering the unnecessarily very long waiting times for ysnp orders from FTDNA for years, this has been refreshing and what I had thought could be the norm for the hobby. I hope this yseq.net experience continues. Here’s the drill as I see it. When a bunch of sufficiently close dna samples, often co-members of a clade, have done BigY or another quasi full Y test, and their sector’s weeded tree constructed from the results, one finds the downstream snp locations which others could test to see how they further enrich the sector tree. The key new snps are requested from yseq.net; when they are added to the catalog the relevant hobbyists can place their orders for a price competitive with FTDNA. 3. It gives me "not found" no matter what location I put into it. By entering, for example, FGC1* in the search box at YBrowse, one is shown a list of up to 1000 FGC SNPs beginning with "FGC1", sorted by Y chromosome position. Similarly, FGC11* in the search box would show a list of up to 1000 FGC SNPs beginning with "FGC11". So one can without too much difficulty determine the Y chromosome positions of all of the entered FGC SNPs. The ancestral and derived alleles for any SNP can be seen by clicking on that particular SNP name. 3. I have a lot of FGC and Y series SNPs for I-M223 Roots particular R9-12 group. I'll see what I can find out on any directory/list. 1. [yDNAhgI] BigYTree-L813 now online
    2. Kenneth Nordtvedt
    3. I have put a new sector tree “ BigYtree-L813” on my website with all shown snps being weeded. Main significant structure is the massive split done only with severeal brand new snps. I see no geographical significance yet for this massive split. Kenneth Nordtvedt Haplogroup I Clade Modalities and Trees at: http://knordtvedt.home.bresnan.net

    3. If you want SNP names, people need to send their BAM files to YFull and/or FGC for analysis. It costs $50, but it would make your job a lot easier.
