She was born October 7, 1915 in Menifee County, KY to Charles T. and Louisa (Wynn) Bell. Edith was a homemaker and farmer. She was a charter member of the Elizabethtown First Church of God since 1957. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carter B. Day; son, Dexter R. Day; sister, Hazel Hale; and brother, Estill Bell. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Don) Eller of Germantown, OH and Helen Travis of Germantown, OH; 5 grandchildren, Mick (Amy) Day of Germantown, OH, Scott (Jennifer) Day of Franklin, OH, John Travis of Germantown, OH, Jeff (Laurie) Eller of Versailles, KY, and Mark (Shauna) Eller of Springboro, OH; 11 grandchildren, Luke and Zach Day, Lenita Travis, Taylor and Makayla Day, Morgan, Nathaniel, Natalie, Faith, Nicole, and Nadine Eller; and sister, Bernice (Clay) Campbell of Franklin, OH. Visitation will be Friday, August 26, 2005 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home. Services will be Saturday, August 27, 2005 at 11:00 am at the Elizabethtown First Church of God, 8900 Chamberlain Road in Germantown, OH with Rev. Garrett Ashley and Rev.
