Dear Cuz's, This was from Mayor Phillip talking about the little grocery/quick stop type store next to the Ashgrove apartments. Read below from Mayor Phillip Hugs Cuz B ttg-inc@comcast.net http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~ttg13/ "Life may not be the party we hoped for... but while we are here we might as well dance !" ----- Original Message ----- Hi Becky, The shop named Compton House, is open from 7.30am to 9.30pm in the evening. The other places tend to close at 6.00pm Various places have opened for breakfast over the years, and closed or stopped. It's not like in America where you all seen to eat out all of the time and obviously the shops etc., are there to cater for this. Its only in the large towns and cities that have these facilities - remember, Caerwys is the Smallest Town in Great Britain with a Royal Charter - and we are in the middle of open countryside. There are many villages only a few miles from Caerwys that have a higher population. Just remembered one thing this afternoon whilst driving. Please remember to tell your members to be careful whilst crossing the road - as we drive on the other side and therefore you have to look right first and then left before crossing. When I was in Philadelphia I made the mistake twice of opening a car door to get in, when of course it was the driving seat, as they are reversed and one such car was a police car - at least I did not get arrested !! Regards. Phillip. .
