Dear Amy, I would suggest... maybe a book about your area, some recipes from your local community, a craft you make.. some little something that your state or area is known for, some token gift from America that they wouldn't get over there. I am making a crochet doily for my hosts, some one else is talented as a drawer/painter and taking a print of one of the pictures they created, someone else is bringing a book about horses, as they have the big horse races in her state... Go to your local tourism place and see what they have. Usually in your county they have booklets about your community, or books about your state etc... Hope this helps!
