Yeah, its so confusing though. Thanks for the help. I believe James (Sr?)'s wife's name is Ann Powell, not Ann Powell Moore. Ann Moore was Jonathan Jr's wife's name, and maybe the person who wrote my history down got them confused. James (Sr?) Humphreys married Ann Powell on Sep 5, 1759. James (Jr?) Humphreys married Mary Ann Gilyard on March 19, 1779. I just can't find anything that says they are father and son. There is a James Humphreys with a son named James, from the same time period, but this James Sr's wife's last name is Yorke (not sure of the first name yet).
