Dear Becky, WE WON FIRST PLACE - BLUE MEDAL ! competing against 21 other choruses of different sizes. Our Chorus, Greater Harrisburg Sweet Adelines (Women's barbershop) has 77 members who participated. The Regional (Penna., Md., & Del.) Competition was held in Ocean City Md. in the Conventional Hall, Apr. 2-3.. A Great Rewarding weekend for all the hard work. (Learning all that choreography on top of the music is challenging,) Does anyone else is our "big" family sing Barbershop Music? Our two songs were: "Red Hot Mama" & "If I Give My Heart To You". Next year we go to Las Vegas for the International Competition. Just thought I'd let you know about a musical activity within our family.
