    3. Dear Cuz Connie, I have been trying to find out some locations to some of the Wales Wynne's stuff... And I have found some interesting information on the "Tower" .. as in the Wynne of Tower seal that Dr. Thomas Wynne used to seal his correspondence and wore as a ring. ..etc.. Well I have come across a website that you may want to look at.. it has a shield or arms on the page..but I don't know if it is related to the town or to the tower.. I am still reading the page... But it says that the Wynne of Tower was.... "TOWER was referred to by the 15 th century poet Hywel Cilcan as "the fair Tower ..a fortress twenty fathoms high". Rheinallt ap Gryfydd ap Bleddyn, who features in the continuous border warfare of the time, was one of the gallant captains who defended Harlech Castle and carved a place for himself in history and TOWER when he hanged the Mayor of Chester in the dining hall at TOWER in 1465. The medieval dining hall, which forms the ground floor has a stone, barrel-vaulted ceiling in which an iron staple marks the spot. Stain-glass windows display the family coat of arms and the motto "Heb ddu, heb ddim", translated "without God there is nothing", are carved over the fireplace. " etc etc... http://www.towerwales.co.uk/ What you think? Hugs Cuz Becky ttg-inc@comcast.net http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~ttg13/
