    3. Most food can go through customs. There are a few exceptions, like French cheeses can not be brought into America in large quanitities because the milk wasn't pasturized. But even that has come through in small amounts a person will consume themselves. We can take chocolate, but they have more kinds of chocolate in the UK than we do here, and much of it is better. I am taking my dried fruit and nuts, because they are less expensive here. Also, granola bars are different there if you can find them, so you may want to take some. The stores there are tiny and the prices are high. You will not find a WalMart or Costco. So much to do and so little time, Alice ----- Original Message ----- From: "The Thill Group, Inc." <ttg-inc@comcast.net> To: <WYNNE-GENEALOGY-SOCIETY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, May 01, 2006 2:35 PM Subject: Re: [WGS] Gifts for Welsh hosts > I don't think anyone can bring food stuffs through customs can they? > Hugs Cuz B > ttg-inc@comcast.net > http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~ttg13/ > "Life may not be the party we hoped for... but while we are here we might > as well dance !" > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Joan Bretz" <jbretz1@earthlink.net> > To: <WYNNE-GENEALOGY-SOCIETY-L@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Monday, May 01, 2006 2:34 PM > Subject: Re: [WGS] Gifts for Welsh hosts > > > > > > Don't bring anything Hershey - that is likely to be what will be brought > > by the folks who come from Hershey. > > > > JoanII > > > > > > ============================== > > Search Family and Local Histories for stories about your family and the > > areas they lived.
