    3. Dear Cuz's, I am sending this to both the Wynne-Genealogy-Society list and the Winn e-mail list.... Members of the WINN-L, I know most of you are Southern Cuz's and are not related to Dr. Thomas Wynne who came from Caerwys, Wales, but I felt it was something that you may or not want to know about.. that is why I am sharing it with you also. The entire trip will be Dr. Thomas Wynne of Caerwys then Philadelphia driven, it will not pertain to the Southern Wynne's. But you are welcome to come if you feel you would like to join us!!! What: Wynne Genealogy Society trip to Caerwys, Wales. When: Travel starts on Wednesday May 10th, 2006 arriving in Manchester England then Caerwys, Wales on Thursday, May 11th, 2006 staying thru Monday, May 15th, 2006 traveling back on Monday May 15th, 2006. Where: USA to Manchester, England UK, to Caerwys, Wales, and back Who can attend: Paid members of the Wynne Genealogy Society. Why: I was invited to come and be part of the grand opening of the Bed & Breakfast and Museum at the home of Dr. Thomas Wynne in Caerwys, Wales. I said I would attend if I could bring my WGS cuz's. They have not completed the B&B or the Museum. But time is passing and Mayor Phillip Parry who has been a great friend of the WGS has asked us to come on while he is still Mayor. He has held on to the position, just to be Mayor when we come.. and it has been several years. He stops being Mayor on Tuesday, May 16th, 2006 so we will leave the day before he leaves office. What will we be doing: Friday, May 12th, 2006 we will be going to the Archives in Hawarden, Wales, and then come back to Caerwys, Wales where they are holding a reception to celebrate the Descendants of Dr. Thomas Wynne coming back to Caerwys, Wales 324 [three hundred and twenty-four] years after his leaving Wales. Saturday, May 13, 2006 we will be going to the Bron Fadoc, where the owners will be letting us tour the property that Dr. Thomas Wynne owned and lived in. Then we will go back to Caerwys, Wales and the County will be holding a reception for us celebrating our coming. Sunday, May 14th, 2006 we will be going touring the area seeing things connecting us to Wales via our Wynne line... i.e. Ruthin Prison, where Dr. Thomas Wynne was held, a Castle that was owned by one of our Wynnes, The Wynnestay which belonged to our southern Wynne Cousins, the area where the Wynn's of Tower lived, etc etc.. Monday, May 15th, 2006 we travel back to Manchester, England and fly back home... Happy Campers. THIS SCHEDULE of items we are going to do while there is not written in stone but we think accomplishable, so it may vary as things come up. We will pay for our transportation to Manchester, England, UK and back The town of Caerwys is providing us a bus to travel from Manchester to Caerwys and back. Also we will be keeping the Bus for our disposal for the weekend. We will pay for hotel rooms if needed. We will pay for all our food, and needs our self. Average flight cost is between $650.00 and $690.00, less for senior citizens. More to come in the future. WINN-L members, please contact me directly at ttg-inc@comcast.net as I will not be posting everything to the WINN-L, so not to disturb the others that are not interested. I will be posting all to the WGS e-mail list.
