    3. Dear WGS Cuz's, I have done everything under the sun [all most] to find a company that will do our travel arrangements for us... but that is not going to happen.... They want to hold a deposit of half price of all the airline tickets, on my credit card and that just isn't going to happen..... SO... I have tried to do as much as possible to be your travel agent [in a way]..=) I have looked at all the address's of the different Cuz's that talked of going to Wales... then I chose the airports that I thought would be workable for everyone. From there I started the working process of finding what we needed from there... I have searched the following airports: Dallas, TX/DFW; Pittsburgh, PA/PIT; Philadelphia, PA/PAL; Newark, NY/EWK [thought it was NJ but they say NY]; Kennedy, NY/JFK; Atlanta, GA/ATL... I felt that would handle most of our travelers and the rest could work around those.... Then I searched the Airline Ticket sellers on line...i.e. travelocity.com; orbits.com; 1-800-Fly-Europe; cheapair.com; cheaptickets.com; priceline.com; hotwire.com; expedia.com; etc. etc. etc. From those I found flights for May 10th, 2006 that will put us in Manchester, Wales on May 11th, 2006. Most flights are 9-15 hours. There are a couple of flights that links us up from the different airlines to one flight going into Manchester, so we would all be arriving together but that is totally up to you. I made a chart of those flights showing where I found them, what airlines, how much they are, how many stops where they stop and flight times, hours in flight and flight numbers. This chart may be found on the following page of my website. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~ttg13/Wales/Walestrip.htm I broke the spreadsheet down by color coding the cities, so you can identify your cities better. Then the far left column I have highlighted the flights that would hook up with the other cities... prime example.... For me I would prefer to take the flight from Dallas/DFW to Newark/EWR then Mansfield by Continental flights 1136 & 20. Any one coming from Pittsburgh can join up with me if they take any of the green highlighted flights that also connect in Newark/EWR on Continental flight 20 to Mansfield... also Any one from Atlanta/ATL can also fly to Newark and join up to Continental flight 20 to Mansfield and we can all fly over together... Or second choice for me would be to fly into Philadelphia and join onto flight 196 which is highlighted in yellow and all of the same cities can join up on that flight it is marked in Yellow in the column on the right.... For everyone else that is not close to those major cities, if you can't find you a flight or don't know how to, contact me and I will try to help. I will have to know what flights you book before we leave for Wales so I can make sure that we will all be accounted for coming and going. Let me know your thoughts.
