    1. [WGS] "How To" folder
    2. Dear Cuz's, As always, I am thinking about organization on my computer. Just as a helpful hint, I thought I would let you know what I do with the e-mails that contain "How To" instructions. I create a folder on my desktop, naming it "HOW TO". I then save the e-mails I create giving instructions how to do something, in this folder. That way I can find it when someone needs it and I can send the instructs to the group again with out retyping it all. For you it would be a great place to put these e-mails, so you can find them when you need them. If you want to do this... I will give you here the instructions to create a "How To" folder on your desktop. 1. Your Desktop: When your computer is booted up and ready to use, the screen you see is called the desktop. It is the background for all programs and contains the commands needed for accessing those programs. To learn about your "Desktop" click this link: http://resources.kaboose.com/brain/comp-les8b.html 2. RIGHT click your mouse on an empty area of your "Desktop". 3. A menu opens 4. Click NEW, a menu opens 5. Click "FOLDER", it should be at the top of the list with a manilla folder image next to it. 6. Look on your "Desktop", there should be a picture of a manilla folder, with a white box under it, with the words "New Folder", typed in the white box. 7. Click on the white box and Type in the name "HOW TO". 8. Click on any other area of the "Desktop" and that window will release and your new name of "HOW TO" should show below that manilla folder. 9. When you have an e-mail with instructions, save this to that "How To" folder on your "Desktop". This way they are all in one place. Hint: Always look at the "Title" line of the e-mail when saving it. Change it to what make sense to you, because that will now be the title of that e-mail, and what you will be seeing in the "How TO" folder. 10. When you need your instructions, open the "HOW TO" folder and choose the appropriate e-mail that gives you the instructions you need. Hope this helps!
