Dear Cuz Katie, You get a router at any store that sells computer hardware. It is what you use to route the path between one computer and another. You can find them on line also... but if you get it locally then you have someone to tell you how to set it up... =) Don't have a clue what is going on with your laptop, sounds like something is going out.
