Louis E. Wynn News Death Notice WYNN, Louis E. Age 80, of Hamilton, died Saturday, February 28, 2009 at Fort Hamilton Hospital. He was born in Hamilton on December 9, 1928, the son of Marvin A. and Helen (Farmer) Wynn. Lou served in the U.S. Army for one year entering the service in 1945. He was a graduate of the University of Cincinnati in 1950. On December 30, 1950, he married Karlyn Mueller in Hamilton. She preceded him in death in 1970. On November 25, 1971, he married Ann Arthur Chable in Hamilton. He received his law degree from Salmon B. Chase Law School in 1955. Lou was an attorney for 48 years in Hamilton ending his career as an attorney of counsel with Millikin and Fitton in 2003. He was a past member of Zion Lutheran Church, and for over twenty years a member of the church council. He held memberships in the Butler County and Ohio Bar Associations. He was a lifetime member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity and a founding member of the New London Hills Swim Club. Lou was a former board member of the Hamilton Kiwanis Club, the Hamilton Senior Citizens, and a life member of the Hamilton Elks. He was past chairman of the Hamilton Board of Zoning Appeals and a member of the board for over twenty years. Lou was a very kind man who had a smile for all he came in contact with. He was very well thought of amongst his peers, clients, and friends. He was a great father who could be counted on to come through with a calm response to his children's problems and "disasters" while growing up. After Heart surgery that required him to stop practicing law in 2003, Lou took great joy in having more time to spend with his children and grandchildren. He was very involved in the day to day raising of his children's children and you could see in his face that he enjoyed life the most when all of his family was around. A great surprise to his wife and children, Lou became an excellent cook, baker, and candy maker in his later years. His fudge, jams, jellies and daily breakfast became a favorite to all of us. Lou will live in many hearts forever. He is survived by his wife, Ann; six children, Jennifer (Kevin) Conrad, Hamilton, Scott (Teresa) Chable, Summerville, S. His name was Louis (Lou) Wynn. Well, I wanted to get with him to see want connection he was to us, I just knew he had to be being there in Butler County, but I never got to. It seems like I am always late on getting things done. Well Lou passed away this past week. With his obit I had his parents name and that got me started on back tracking to find how he was connected. When I find a Wynn or some other surname that is connected to our group, I always check Becky's website to see if she has any thing on them. This time she only had Lou's grandpas name for me to start with and the reason I know that was him is because of the name and birthdate that matched some of my research I had done. Thank you, Joyce. I was over your way for Three days . one helping Stacey R Sharp my daughter and now three grand children. Two day after being ask to assist in the research of Stanton files held by Jim Stanton . We looked at letters and document from 10:15 in the morning till 4:00pm in the evening breacking only for lunch. I could not believe how much I was able to fill in on the documents with what I have found . The letters where dated 1800's to about 1908. This man had collected these for years trying to put a tree together. Copies are now archived at the genealogy historial society of warren county Lebanon,Ohio. I had earlier found a small book that these letters were used to document and source a book. It was a great time and I have more information documentals and sources for my family Stanton. Well, I wanted to get with him to see want connection he was to us, I just knew he had to be being there in Butler County, but I never got to.  It seems like I am always late on getting things done.   Well Lou passed away this past week.  With his obit I had his parents name and that got me started on back tracking to find how he was connected.     When I find a Wynn or some other surname that  is connected to our group, I always check Becky's website to see if she has any thing on them. This time she only had Lou's grandpas name for me to start with and the reason I know that was him is  because of the name and birthdate that matched some of my research I had done. Well, his grandfather was Clay Wynn (full name Green Clay Wynn)B: 1886 the part between the **** is from Becky's site. The Clay Wynn is the grandfather of Lou and Clay's father is Isaac Wynn.
