Dear Cuz's, Guess what!!! I talked to Cuz Joyce Gail, and Olema Hudspeth's son Robbie contacted Joyce Gail and said she may have all of Olema's research!!!! Cuz Joyce Gail is making arrangements to pick it all up, so she will soon have all of Olema'ss research. That is one of the biggest concerns I have with our research, the arrangements for it to be passed to someone who will take care of it and continue to share it with other researchers. Olema was going to donate her research to an institution, but Robbie felt it would be best handled by Cuz Joyce Gail, because he could make no odds or ends of it as he is not into genealogy. I believe that Olema would be pleased that her research will be going on and kept with the respect it deserves. For those who did not know Olema Hudspeth, she was a very strong researcher who collected records starting before xerox machines, e-mail and other things we take for granted. She was not shy in correcting or arguing for the good, the points of her research. The WGS respected her greatly for her research. She is missed. She passed April 19th, 2005, at 75 years of age.
