I am obviously not the Admin of this list, so please forgive me for sending what amounts to a "test message" to the list. If this does make it to the list, please be aware of the fact that RootsWeb is currently having some major problems, more than one of them that are combining to cause a myriad of difficulties. Some can send list mail but not receive, some vice versa, and some of the unlucky ones can do neither one, and in a few cases entire lists are down. I cannot give you any estimate on when it will be fixed, but as an active List Admin (though not for this list) I sure hope it is soon. Becky and I have been talking about this off list, so I hope she doesn't mind me posting this for information, and also to see if I can post to this list myself yet, since I was unable to do so earlier. Please DO NOT write to me asking when it will be back up, because all I know myself is what I've just told you from having been in contact with some folks in a position to know something, but in my opinion nobody at RootsWeb really knows themselves at this point.
