Have picture of his tombstone at St. Mary's and it says: James Wynn Died May 31, 1861 Age 57 Years Ok tombstone says death: May 31, 1861 But his obit says he died of Consumption on the 19th and gives age as 56 yrs 10 mo 8 days. if we use the FTmaker calculator it says: if his death date was May 31, 1861 his birth date would be Jul 23, 1804 BUT why does the Obit say he died on the 19th???? That is a long way from a typo of the 31st..... AND.. the 1850 census puts his birth to be 1807 and the 1860 census puts his birth at 1805..... Anyone have any more "Sources" that helps in this???
