My Grandmother, Olive P. Wynn was born July 23, 1887 in Knauertown, Chester Cty, PA to James Richard Wynn and Lydia S. Metz Wynn. She was married to my Grandfather, William Davis Hall. I was talking with my Dad this afternoon and he told me that the P was Pierce (he was not sure of the spelling)...he said that his mother also had cousins whose last name was Pierce (again the spelling may be different). Do any of you who have so carefully researched the family for years have any knowledge of any Pierces in the family tree? Dear Becky and all the cousins,   I've been lurking all these past months and enjoyed reading all the emails and especially following all the reunion chatter and pictures.  I'm currentlynot doing genealogy as it is in another computer that I am not using. I can't believe I lived in West Philadelphia (Overbrook) on Marlyn Rd, for my high school and nursing school years before my folks moved to East Norriton, near Norristown, Pa. and I never knew about any of this about my ancestors.  I never knew either Grandmothers and it was through my Grandmother Sarah L. Wynne m to Charles Martin Schultz who connected me to Dr. Thomas Wynne.  My Father was William Wynne Schultz, their son.   My best to all and I echo the Christmas messages for all to have a Wonderful Christmas and a Great loving and peaceful New Year.  My sympathies go out to those who have lost loved ones this year.  I know how that feels. Becky, I hope you have a restful Christmas and New Year.  You always put 200%  in everything you do.  Seriously, are you a twin?  Otherwise I don't know how you accomplish so much. Oh, Joyce Gail...I just this moment got off the 'phone with one of my dearest friends. Yesterday she and her nephew celebrated their birthdays together. Life is rich in many, many ways. For the Abbott and Costello crew...My fingers hit the wrong keys. The following is the Email I was beginning to write and then sent on to Becky: Dear Becky: Sleepless in Willow Street, PA I just made out a check to you for the Wynnestay info. It is in my check book awaiting your address. I know you sent it out before. My error in not immediately entering it in my address book. As you know my husband's frailties prevented my attending the Philadelphia Reunion. I have looked at all of the photos attempting to live the event vicariously. I thank one and all for the superb documentation of the event. My husband Hal Lasky's decline accelerated in November. Thanksgiving week he was hospitalized with an ejection fraction of 16% (the left ventricle's EF is normally 55%). Since then Hospice has been involved in his care at home. Yesterday he was admitted to the Mount Joy Hospice facility near Lancaster, PA as he became too weak to stand and I can not lift and turn him. Our son, Brett Wynne, has been my mainstay during this trying time. Hal is being kept comfortable in pleasant and serene surroundings. Another phase of life is nearing completion in this household. It is quite possible my next life phase can include family projects that have been on hold during many years of caregiving.
