    3. priceless information. Is it safe? Also came to mind were the two pieces of paper laying here on my desk waiting to be handled. One is to send off for a CD of St. Paul's Lutheran church records, also in the 9th Ward, and the other to send for a copy of my mother's obituary from that very library. Perhaps neither of these may be obtainable now. Benjamin Franklin was certainly correct about not putting off things until tomorrow. 3. 'Sweetie"...I know it is in good hands..like Alstate! Yes, you are the busy one, but that keeps you young. Thanks Heavens for this computer research..it is a big help to me..I look at friends around here who are my age or younger and I can see the difference in those who are active and those who are just floating through life. You know, just like our computer memorys, the brain can only hold so much intelligence-it gets full! So, we have to force it to work with us. I know mine is on the edge-those little tell-tale signs-words that are forgotten, events you can`t remember-what did I have for breakfast? you want to hear about my experiences working on the farm at age 12..I could tlak for hours! BTW, there is a great article in this month`s AARP on this subject-suggest you find a copy, if you are not a member. Joe`s rambling, but it`s early here in MD-beautiful sky, low humaditity and temp (60 right now)..81 for a high today. I am feeling great-I have started depositing my many, many family research files in local libraries and societies. Going into Chestertowm (county seat) this AM-Martha`s hairday-and dropping 10 large 3-ring binders at the Historical Society of Kent Co of Maryland. This will be my third load. Also, the Maryland Historical Society in downtown Baltimore, advised me yesterday that they will be pleased to receive all my WYNNE files. I have assembled 6 large binders. I have to remove the papers, review them for strctly personal stuff, like e-mails, and then they will put them in boxes and store them for the public in their Manuscript Room. I have also deceided to donate all the works I have on the CHAIRES/CHEAIRS familes-yes, you have them in TX-I believe spelled the CHEAIRS way. @ brothers on the Nathaniel who left MD and went to Richmond Co, NC, changed their spelling. Big group of this line in TN & MS. The CHAIRES (my line) are mainly through out FL. There is even a CHAIRES, FL just outside of Tallahassee-I visited there 3 years ago. So, this is a big load off my shoulders..what to do with all this good stuff? Ok, Joe, enough.. Have a better one today! Love ya! 3. Debra L. Stiff Monsive Cottage Grove, OR 97424 tomdeb@oip.net Dear Cousins, I am going to visit my Great Aunt Dorothy Stiff Wyman this weekend. She is 87 years old and has been documenting family history for years, but not for the last 10+ years. We were talking on the phone last evening and she asked me if I had found any Native American connections to the Wynn or McLane lines. She has written two books and someone from Missouri that read one of her books wrote and mentioned something about Native American heritage in our family, she misplaced the note and was unable to follow up. She doesn't remember who it was that mentioned it, but she has always suspected that there is Native American in our line. I would appreciate any thoughts or comments on the subject. I will be leaving in the morning to visit with her...it is about a 4 hour drive. Thank you, Debra Stiff Monsive Cottage Grove, Oregon
