Hi Becky! I'm sure you already know this...but if the group should need hotel accomodations, you should be able to find a better rate if you block a group of rooms. If you need more info, let me know, it is what I do for a living. Hope everyone has a good time. I definitely will not be going. Cuz JoAnn --------------------------------- Relax. Yahoo! Cuz'n Becky, Reservations are made. We will see you there. Cuz'n Susan
My first memories of this group was in the spring of 2000. Cuz Terry tried to talk me in to coming to Oklahoma where you were going to meet again. At this point, Terry and I had not been able to verify our Wynne connection---althought Cousin Terry felt sure we were on the right track. I remember thinking, why would I want to go to Oklahoma and be with a bunch of people that I didn't know and wasn't even sure I was connected to?!?!?! Soon after that, we found the links that did connect us to the Wynne family. David and I finally met up with a bunch of you in Philadelpia in 2001 and things have never been the same since where the Wynne cousins are concerned. What a group!!!!! We certainly have had some wonderful times together and I am sure there will be lots more to come. Dear Cuz's Mayor Phillip is checking for lodging for us.... But I also have been looking. Please do not book your own lodging as we are trying to keep the group together. We will tell you when it is time to book, ok? As far as the "stay in a welsh house" we are running into a snag because we will be needing to stay the nights of Thursday and Friday and leave on Monday which are work days for most of the people but they are working on it... BUT.... I thought I would give you an idea of the hotels nearby.. and I am working on that part also... I am seeing rooms for 30.00 to 60.00 English pounds which 40.00 pounds is 69.894 US Dollars now... so for under 100.00 a night we know we can find lodging if all else fails. If you want to see some of the hotels near by go to this website in the blank boxes put in: United Kingdom [country], Caerwys [placename], 2006-05-11 [Check-in] and 4 nights. If it acts up then put in Holywell for place name once it comes up then put in Caerwys and run it again... [don't ask me why!] It will figure it out. Then it will show you hotels that are near Caerwys that we can use. Keeping in touch, Hugs Cuz B ttg-inc@comcast.net http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~ttg13/ "Life may not be the party we hoped for... but while we are here we might as well dance !"

Dear Cuz Becky, That's affirmative for continuing on to London!!! I booked my flight (seat 12H) from the 10-18th of May. It will be so much fun. Now Wales and London will never be the same! ha. Appreciate all the hard work you've done in your research of trains, hotels, etc. We still have plenty of time to make those decisions. Having a "Super Bowl" party with friends from Indy...needless to say, we're not cheering for the Colts as we would have wished. Next year. Talk later. Love, Sharon (UnderHILL) ha.
