And in one of them he said: "Some of the local ladies have also offered to make the tea and bake cakes to be served during the interval of the concert. Also the local newspapers and television channel have also been in contact - you are all going to be famous !!" Oh this is going to be such a hoot! OH and the Wynne of Wynne of Tower has asked us to visit and do a tour for L3.00 a person, a hour tour.... so we are dumping Ruthin Goal and putting in Wynne of tower we will post a new itinerary soon.     3. Check your plug adapters and hair dryer. My new American Tourister plug adapter says "1500 WATTS MAX", and my travel hair dryer is 1875 watts. I had a hard time finding a travel hair dryer less than 1500 watts. Amazon didn't even have one. I had to order one from Conair, and its only 800 watts. I have long thick hair so a hair dryer is a must, but its going to take forever at 800 watts.     3. Most food can go through customs. There are a few exceptions, like French cheeses can not be brought into America in large quanitities because the milk wasn't pasturized. But even that has come through in small amounts a person will consume themselves. We can take chocolate, but they have more kinds of chocolate in the UK than we do here, and much of it is better. I am taking my dried fruit and nuts, because they are less expensive here. Also, granola bars are different there if you can find them, so you may want to take some. The stores there are tiny and the prices are high. You will not find a WalMart or Costco.
