>From: Mary Alice <maryalice@frontiernet.net> Mary Alice and Chis, I lived in West Phila from 1949 to 1956 and never knew. How sad.My Aunts and Uncles lived in Manayunk and my sisters and I were born on Hermitage St. My Uncles Charles and Sam, ran a dry cleanng business on one of the cobble stone roads going down to the Skulykill river, not sure of the spelling anymore. We were always afraid on icy days we would end up in the river, but we didn't. We thought my dad, William Wynne Schultz was German, but he was Dutch Reformed from Holland..My Aunts and Uncles, (10) lived in Roxborou, huge three story house al of their lives, until they started dying off, or became ill and my cousin Betty Mae Hofmann took in her dand Fred Hofmann and her mother Florence Schultz Hofmann. I already responded to this request for flight times, but I just wanted to ask Susan Wright if she is from US or by chance UK, as I saw her name here. I had a roommate named Susan Wright in London when I lived there. And as an aside, whenever I make a call and don't wish to have them know who I am, I have for 30 years said, "This is Susan Wright!" I want to see the monuments!!! I new some were dated in our guys time..!!! Church of St Mary , Ysceifiog Ysceifiog Church is in the Diocese of St Asaph, in the community of Ysceifiog in the county of Flintshire. It is located at Ordnance Survey national grid reference SJ1526571498. The church is recorded in the CPAT Sites and Monuments Record as number 16977 and this number should be quoted in all correspondence. Churchyard The churchyard is large, sub-rectangular and level. It is well-maintained. Boundary:- a stone wall incorporating higher property boundaries on the south. Monuments:- there are a few marked graves on the south side of the church, with rather more on the north side. Early graveslabs laid flat around the south-west corner of the church include dated examples from 1611, 1721 etc. There has been some clearance and rationalisation of gravemarkers with slabs laid flat along the north-east path. North of the tower is one from 1698. Furniture:- the remnants of the churchyard cross, south of the nave, include the weathered octagonal base and part of the tapering polygonal shaft to about 1m in height. A fragment of the weathered head lies loosely on the base. A 15thC date has been postulated. The circular limestone shaft for a sundial is set to the south-west of the tower; no plate or gnomon.
