    3. Actually I think the John G who was 4 at the time of the 1870 census must be the one that applied for the passport (birthdate in 1866). That would all fit with the father named Lot who was born in Ohio. I have his death in my records listed as 1920, which would also match the passport application stating his father had died before 1924. Hi, Violet, You might try another approach. Since there are Death Cert's available online from Missouri, covering death dates from 1910-1957 via: http://www.sos.mo.gov/archives/resources/deathcertificates/#search You could search for the Wynn/Winn surname and locate the names and places of the cem's where Wynns were buried and perhaps identify the oldest folks and assume that others would have been buried in the same cem. Doing a Google search on a cem. name you find might turn up its location. Or, you could just try http://www.interment.net/ which is free. Their lists are not complete but even if you just find one Wynn listed in a cem., the probability that there would be more is pretty high. Best regards, Cuzin Jane

I will be taking Chris and Cassie up the west side to see our Williams ancestral places (and to unbury that bronze plate, Becky!!!!) and around the north to see the Thomas Wynne area -- my son's ancestor.
