Dear Cuz Diane B The significance to the Saturday land tour/meeting house visit, is to give you guys something else Wynne to look at, and another perspective of the Meeting houses. The area we are going to is the "Marsh farm" that keeps being referred to in several sources, and keeps peaking peoples interest...i.e. where is it??? And because Merle's daughter lives are there in the area, there has been comparison of where she lives and where it is, and could she be on old Wynne land and not know it etc etc.... As to the Meeting house, Ida has set that up for us, and it is a meeting house in the area of Marsh farm to easy to incorporate in our day. The Vance's/Nixon's went there but haven't researched if the Wynne's went there, but it will give us another perspective of the Quaker meeting house. Dear Cuz Connie, I can't wait either, this is going to be grand! All good here, everyone needs to be aware that when the hotel elevators [3] shut, those doors are so strong don't even try to keep it open. lol it tried to squish me!! Either that or I am really getting weak!!! OH They have a heated swimming pool and hot tub and a full exersize room, and they are nice enough if I had my suit I would use them! Our air in the bedroom turned to heat, they were here in a flash and totally removed and replaced the unit, also the thermostate, and were done all in less than 15 minutes! I was impressed, and they told me that if it acted up again, the security in the night knows how to do the same, so we would be no time with comfort..... I thought that was exceptional. We had soup and sandwich room service last night.. it was excellant! So I think the hotel is very workable. Dear Becky, I'm still in a quandery about the locations of the 'spots' you described to me about the locations of the "Wynne" lots. I checked further and found you are talking of an area which is North of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The Marsh Creek State Park Area is South of the Pa. Turnpike. In the Milford Mills Book this area is described as 'formerly being known as the "Wynne Meadows." It will be interesting to view these two areas on Saturday, and compare the info's. It's Cuz Bill Hall again just saying thank you to all of you for letting me know some of each of your histories, especially where you all grew up and live currently. I do hope I will get to meet some of you at some point. Have a great Philadelphia Reunion! -Cuz Bill
