Hi everyone, New to the list, and am searching for William Albert Crawford's family. William Albert Crawford was born on November 18, 1890 in Wyoming County, West Virginia. Died in Spring Coulee, Alberta, Canada. His parents Barbara J. Cline and James Crawford. (It has been told that William Albert was adopted. There might be a possibility that maybe Barbara J. Cline had this baby and maybe James Crawford adopted him or they adopted him together....have no idea. On William Albert Crawford's Marriage Certificate it lists: His wife as Goldie Mabel Clark as his wife (I have a lot of records for her family). His father as James Crawford born in Zanesville, Ohio His mother as Barbara Cline born in West Virginia. On Barbara J. Cline's Death Registration it lists: Her father as Wilson Cline born in West Virginia, (born abt. 1843 in Tazewell County, Virginia) Her mother as Frances Cartwright, born in West Virginia, (born abt. 1842 in Logan County, West Virginia) On James Crawford's Death Registration it lists: His father as Jas. Crawford born in Columbus, Ohio His mother as ?? Grandstaff born in Ohio (This may be the state of Ohio, or the County of Ohio, West Virginia.) Is there anyone on this list that might be researching this family for siblings? Is there any way that I could search for adoption records for William Albert Crawford? Also, would like to find out what Jas. Crawford's wife's first name is. It might be Elizabeth Grandstaff, but I just don't know. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
