    3. Hi Lee, I am not researching the Farleys but I do chase the McMillions. I show Jackson Farley and his wife, Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Clay Farley, had a daughter Lucy Jane Farley. I show Lucy Jane Farley had a daughter, Elizabeth Octava " Betty" Farley and that Lucy Jane married Joseph McMillion on 16 May 1907 in Wyoming County. McMillion, Joseph 46 Wyoming s/o Henry/Mary to Lucy Jane Farley 36 Wyoming D/O Jackson/Elizabeth 16 May 1907. Lucy's daughter, Elizabeth Octava " Betty" Farley, married Sherman McMillion on 9 Jun 1910 in Wyoming County. Marriage Records of Wyoming County, W. Va. 1854-1910 Copyright 1991 by Ronald Ray Turner McMillion, Sherman 20 Wyoming S/O Joe/Lochona McMillion to Betty Octava Farley 16 Wyoming D/O Lucy McMillion 9 June 1910 Apparently, Joseph McMillion had previously been married to Lochona Acord d/o Ben Henderson and Nancy Allen Acord. Wednesday Afternoon, January 5, 1949 McGraws Farmer Expires at Home By Register Staff Writer MULLENS - Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. for Joseph McMillian, about 90, who died at 2:40 p.m. at his McGraws home yesterday. The retired Wyoming County farmer died after a lengthy illness. Services will be conducted from the residence and burial will follow in the family plot at McGraws. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lucy McMillian; three sons, Ken McMillian of Meadow Bridge, James McMillian of Ravencliff, and Sherman McMillian of McGraws. Two daughters, Mrs. Lilly Lafferty and Mrs. Essie Jones, both of Glen Daniel, also survive. Raleigh Register, Beckley, W. Va. Wednesday Afternoon, October 22, 1952 McMillion Rites To be Held Today MULLENS-Funeral services for Mrs. Lucy J. McMillion, life long resident of Wyoming County, were to be conducted at 2 p.m. today at the McGraws home of her son, Sherman McMillion, by the Rev. Joe Pizzino and the Rev. Virgil Shannon. Burial for Mrs. McMillion, who died at 10:05 p.m. Monday at the home of her son, will be in the family cemetery at McGraws. In addition to her son she is survived by a daughter, Betty McMillion, and a sister, Mrs. Sally Brinegar, all of McGraws; a brother, Jack Farley, of Itmann; also nine grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. NOTE: Wyoming County death record gives date of birth as 12/4/1866, date of death 10/20/52. Parents are given as Jackson Farley and Elizabeth Clay with Sherman McMillion as the informant. Raleigh Register, Beckley, W. Va. Tuesday Afternoon, April 5, 1966 Sherman McMillion Funeral services for Sherman McMillion, 75, McGraws, will be conducted at 2 p. m. Thursday in the Milam Methodist Church at McGraws with the Rev. Ronald Adkins, Herndon Heights, in charge. Burial will be in the family cemetery at McGraws. McMillion died at 5:45 p.m. Monday at his home following a heart attack. Born April 20, 1890, he was a son of the late Joseph and Lacona Acord McMillion. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Betty Farley McMillion; two sons, Eddie and Archie, both of McGraws; six daughters, Mrs. Aden (Gillie) Trump, Mrs. Jesse (Martha) Shumate and Miss Wilda McMillion, all of McGraws, Mrs. Benny (Dellie) Lafferty, Ravencliff, Mrs. Wilson (Dema) Perdue, Oxford, Pa., and Mrs. W. H. (Vernie) Hern, Cyclone; a brother, Ken, Meadow Bridge; a sister, Mrs. Essie Jones, Cleveland, Ohio; 50 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
