SO YOU'VE DONE IT, YOU'VE SUBSCRIBED TO OUR WYOMING LIST WHY? WHAT DID YOU EXPECT IT TO BE? WHAT I'D LIKE IT TO BE? I'd like to take this opportunity to welcome each of you to our Wyoming County List. If you've not heard from me, I'd like to apologize. Time is so short and so many things to do. I'd also like to start a thread...a subject for discussion. We'll do this only for a day or so and then move on to another. You're on this list, OK now what would you like it to be? What did you expect it to be? Your thoughts are most appreciated. Of course, we'll cover genealogy and some history too, but I think we need to take a little time to acquaint ourselves to the beginning bunch and establish a network of thoughts and whatever you'd like to say about our WYOMING MAILING LIST I'll let go first. ------------------ I established this list to learn more about the county I've traveled over for years. I can get you to most of the towns but I never really learned the history of Wyoming County VA and West Virginee too. My ancestry ties into a little community located on Micajahs Ridge. There was and is a small community called "BEARTOWN" and that's where my Bailey, Godfrey, Peters, Shrewsbury, Lusk, and a White family were.
