Lee, I found your post interesting as I keep running into folks searching for a Nancy Collins. There was a Nancy COLLINS living next to the Meredith Collins household in the Shelby Creek area of Pike Co. between 1830 & 40. Several have thought her to be one of the unnamed daughters of Meredith(He had two but names have never been proven). Also interesting is that my line follows John W. Collins, Meredith's first son by second relationship to Margaret HOLLOWAY. Goes to Richard (I don't know if he had a middle name) then to Ervin WALKER COLLINS SR to Ervin Walker Collins Jr. When I ask the family where the Walker came from I was only told it was a family name.
