Does anyone know of records other than the 1850 VA census for Nathan and Elizabeth Sargent Young who moved to Wyoming from Harlan Co. KY. They had Abraham b 1828, Hiram b 1829, Nancy b ? and Robert Letcher b 1848. Nathan killed a man and had to leave the country, leaving Elizabeth and the kids to fend for themselves. They settled in Clay Co. where Elizabeth married Joseph Butler in 1856 Nicholas Co. The circumstances are recorded in Marriage Book B 1856 and they were accepted in order to clear the way for remarriage. She is buried in Chapman Cemetery with Hiram and his three wives. I do not know where Joseph is buried. Any Young info greatly appreciated.
