WV Nickname "Dock" was an engineer on the logging train that ran through the mountains. married Clara Pfalzgraff 7-13-1907Parkersburg, WV (german war bride) son of Armour Lawson Godfrey Jr. Armour Lawson Godfrey Jr. b. 1850 Virginia Territory d. 1940 Mosseyrock, Wa.Lewis Co. married Louisa "Eliza" Jane COLLINS d/o Wm CollinsJr. and Nancy Lambert. I always thought that Amour Jr. was s/o of Armour L. Godfrey Sr. and Rebecca Lester but I contacted one of their children and this son said that Armour's mother 's first name was Margaret. Since this info differs from what I have I have had this line on hold. I joined this list to see if anybody can straighten these Armours out. I noticed in the census there are several.
