Brenda I have seen your elusive Collins in the McDowell Census...there are too many John and Lydia Collins for me to get a handle on...Collins married heavy into my Mullens and Roberts ..so I am always "looking" I have the funeral home record for Fidelia and it lists her parents as J.F. Donaldson and Catherine Taylor. My grandfather had a brother Andrew Floyd Hammonds b. l877 m. 1895 Greenbrier Co WV Ella Milam b. cal880-83 in Ky d. 1946 in Greenbrier CoWV I have never really checked out the MIlams other than to see they traveled the same route as Hammonds-Roberts-Mullens-Collins. etc. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
