Jacob was born in TN but when young moved with his parents to Tazewell Co. VA, the part that later became McDowell Co. WV.Children of John W. & Lydia Toner Collins included: iv. JOHN3 COLLINS. v. WILLIAM COLLINS. vi. CECIL COLLINS. vii. BENJAMIN COLLINS. viii. JACOB COLLINS. ix. MARGARET COLLINS. x. IRA COLLINS. John W. took second wife Mary ROARK and their children were Alfred Collins b. 1853 Arnetta Emoretta Edison Ames Collins b. 1855 Richard Collins b. 1858 Brenda Douglas A.
