    3. Lee, My SPENCER line goes back to James Spencer of Greenbrier vertran of War of 1812, described in military record as "indian" . James second wife was Mary Cook married in 1833 after the death of first wife Elizabeth Hopenstal. Does anybody have this Mary COOK in their records. She was mother of 9 children by James and Elizabeth was mother of 11. James fathered 20 children including 3 sets of twins. Also if you are in Christianburg and have a little extra time. I recieved the entry record of Captain James McDaniel's Copmpany out of there and there may be a clue to the parentage of Meredith Collins b. 1760 d. 1840 Pike Co. KY Any help greatly appreciated. Again thanks for sharing. Brenda LeeHash@aol.com wrote: > Lt. Col. Henry T. Cook, got it right this time.. > Rev Goode brings up something interesting about John Cooke.
