This #2 Armour: 1. Armour^4 L Godfrey (Thomas^3, Absalom^2, Thomas^1) was born about 1851 in VA. found in Wyoming Co. 1860 census. I have no other infomation on him. He was born in 1851. I have him being born 1850 married to Louisa Jane Collins d/o William Collins Jr. and Nancy Lambert. The Collins and Godfrey families both left McDowell Co. about the same time moving into Nicholas Co.WV. about 1902 they formed a large wagontrain and went west to Lewis Co. Washington. Armour followed the lumbering business til his elder years. He then carried the mailpouches by horseback over the mountains to the RR camps and logging camps. Louisa died 1937 Mosseyrock, Wa and Armour followed her in 1940. They are both buried at Doss cemetery, Lewis Co. Wa.
