Hi Brenda, I don't have that much on my Poe line but what I do have is that my great grandfather's name is John W. Poe. I do know that they at one time lived in North Carolina, but for some reason, my grandfather (Jesse Poe) moved to West Virginia. I don't know if he already had family there or what the reason was for him to move there. My father was born in Pinevile county WVa. Any information that you might have would be greatly appreciated. I haven't really worked much of it but di know it goes back to Stephen Peter Poe who was English. He traveled to Holland where he lived for a while before taking a bride and traveling to America as newly weds. They settled in Virginia and had 15 children and after the death of his wife he remarried and second wife had 10 more children.Somewhere in this mountain of files I have all twentyfive children and their information.
