    1. Re: [WVWYOMIN] GOODE
    2. Becky, I will have to take another look at your quest for Collins. Here is something that may be of interest that Goode wrote. William Riffe moved to the Buffalo Settlement. He was born in 1803 in Tazwell County. He married Sarah Trent of Russell County and came to Little Huff Creek in 1844. Their children were five boys and eight girls: (1) Dicey married Marshall Roberts and settled in McDowell County. (2) Lewis Riffe married Margaret Collins. (3) Polly married John Collins. (4) Sookie married Benj. Collins. (5) William Riffe Jr. married Sarah Beverly and settled on Wild Cat of Huff Creek. (6) Betsey married John Gibson and lived in McDowell County. (7) John Riffe married Pricy Wilson and settled Muzzel Creek of Little Huff. (8) Margaret married Jacob Puckett and settled on Dry Fork of Tug River. (9) Sarah married Monterville Blankenship and settled on Dry Fork. (10) H.F. Riffe married Nancy Asbury and settled on Muzzle Creek. (11) Cloe married Willis Blankenship and settled on Knox Creek in Buchanan County, Virginia. (12) Fred Riffe married Elinora Davis and settled on Muzzle Creek. (12) Nancy Riffe never married.
