Seeking information on a Mary Milam that had a relationship with James Beeman between 1929 - 1953, in McDowell and/or Wyoming Co . I do not know if they were legally married or not. My grandmother died in 1929 and James Beeman died in 1953. I've been told Mary Milam joined James in about 1932. Does anyone know if this marriage was a common law or legal marriage? I'd love to see if there is a marriage license that may give me a clue on James Beeman's parents.
