    1. Re: [WVWYOMIN] Old Pictures
    2. Do you know who the people are in the Walker pictures. I have done quite a bit of research on the William Walker, Sr., William Walker, Jr. and Thomas Walker lines. My paternal grandmother was India Walker who married Morton Blaine Cook. I have traced William Walker, Sr. and his wife Nancy Browning back to NC. Her family lines were Browning and Anglin. As William Jr. and Thomas both married Cook women, they are definitely grafted into the Cook family tree. 2. STANLEY BROWNING
    3. Cathy, et. al., To those of you researching the history of William Walker connections to our WV families I want to say "rots-o-ruck." Those who know my background with the Stewarts and Brownings will understand my interests as the name pops up several times in connection with those particular surnames. I wish that was all. I sometimes have thought there may have been as many as four different William Walkers in our general area of interest at about the same time. Some, such as the William Walker-Nancy Browning line, don't present a problem for most purposes, until you begin to wonder if that William Walker was the same as the one (or more) who was a big landowner in southern WV. Could he have been the same or related to the William Walker who married Capt. Ralph Stewart's daughter, Mary? These are just a couple of questions that come to mind of several others that arose in some of my earlier studies. I crave your enlightenment on the subject. I have some old pictures of some descendants of the Thomas Walker family, some of whom I have not been able to identify. Some I have posted on the Joel Hager "My Family" web site. I will be glad to share them further in hopes that someone out there might recognize one or more of the unknowns..
