We are doing my wifes family tree and come to a dead end. Looking for information on the family of Kiah Mitchem and Debbi Duncan (per marriage record McDowell Co 12-10-1873) We have yet to see the name Debbi/Debra etc used back in that era. My sister was married to a George Lee Akers. Had brothers; Floyd, Lloyd, Royd & Boyd. (believe it or not). They were from the So. Charleston, WV area (Kanawha County). That is about all I knew about them. They are all dead. My sister is still living. If you think there is a connection, let me know and I may be able to find out more about them.
