    2. I have known a person named Doug Damron. He was a good friend of my brother-in-law Charlie Sepko. I also recall seeing a James Damron listed as the Judge of the county before Judge R.D. Bailey took his place in 1920. Cathy

    3. Hi Carroll, The were born, raised, and died in Wyoming County. They lived there also, in the Sun Hill area. I have there ancestors, due to the fact that John's father and Sarah's mother were sibling's to my great grandfather,(my father's side). John and Sara are my great grandparent's on my mother's side. John was b. abt 1862, Sarah, was b. abt 1873. She was 15 when she married John, Sept. 14, 1888. Sorry, I was a little vague. I sometimes forget that not everyone knows who I am talking about. :^) Thanks, Pam Blankenship Honaker >From: KUllr99431@aol.com >To: pam_honaker@hotmail.com >CC: Genefrk@aol.com >Subject: blankenship >Date: Wed, 5 May 1999 23:15:53 EDT > >Pam, I saw the question that I have copied below. I have another listed as Rosa, m. to ?Aliff. I believe there was another son Bud. Bud died at about the age of 42 with a heart attatck(?, in the 70's. This is just bits and pieces that I am pulling from my mind that my grandmother had told me when I was young. John was the s/o John William Blankenship and Fanny Allen, Sarah was the d/o Juliet Blankenship and Henry Allen. I would appreciate any info. 2. Pam Honaker
    3. Hello, I am trying to find and verify the death dates for Jesse and Hannah, my great(x)-grandparents. All that I really know is that Jesse died after 1870 (Wyoming County Census) and Hannah was alive in 1880 Logan county. When I was in WV a couple of weeks ago, I did not find anything on either of them at the Courthouse in Pineville. I did not get a chance to make it to Logan. Hoping that someone might have a lead to send me in the right direction. :^) Thanks, Pam Blankenship Honaker _______________________________________________________________ Get Free Email and Do More On The Web. 3. April 30, 1999 from KayBDavis@aol.com (Kay Davis) Please send a reply to Kay Davis and our Mercer County List too. BAILEY, DAVIS, GODFREY - Here's what I'm looking for: Jesse DAVIS, b. 1808 in Giles Co., VA, m. Margaret GODFREY, daughter of Absalom and Mary Ellen Bailey. They moved to Mercer County (Mercer 1850 Census) and then into Wyoming County, VA (WVA). Children of Jesse and Margaret are: Hiram G, John W., Joshua P., Irwin W., William A., James B., Jesse A., Martha J., Nancy, Sarah, and Elvira. Do you know anything about Jesse Davis's parents? From the 1810 Giles Census, I would guess the choices are William, Hiram or Linsey. Does you know who Jesse's siblings are?

    3. Glen, why do you always put reply to the person who is asking the questions? This is one of the reasons why there is never any activity on this list. Everyone should see the answers unless very personal because most of us are related in some way and a lot of us have information on the subject in our data base. All of the other list around Wyoming have an active list going.
