    1. [WVWYOMIN] Belcher
    2. When I posted on the site a few days ago requesting info on Belcher, I did not mention there were 3 Bartlett Belchers. There remains some confusion here. 1. Bartley Belcher, born June 6, 1761, married Ailsey Lawson 9/16/1800 Patrick County, Va.. This Bartlett filed a Rev War Pension application in Hawkins County, Tn, and after his death, his widow (Alice) filed in Lee County, Va. 2. Bartlett Belcher married Rachel Ramey 1/10/1821 in Floyd County, Ky. This Bartlett Belcher was the progenitor of our Wyoming County Belchers. 3. Bartlett Belcher married Malinda Fox 3/22/1848 in White County, Tn. Interesting Note: John Thomas Belcher was born 1605 Northamptonshire England. After arriving in America he married Tabitha Bartlett. Tabitha was born in about the year 1618 in England. **************It's Tax Time! Get tips, forms, and advice on AOL Money & Finance. 2. Debra Rookard
    3. Cousins, For all those with ties to Wise Co VA, you may have heard that Big Stone Gap was hit with a F1 tornado this past Tuesday March 4, 2008 at 4:55pm. Most of the damage was in the Poplar Hill area. Eddie Kilbourne, a local photographer and has over 309 pics on his photo site. It is recommend to click on slideshow, (far right top of the page), and just let it run. The pictures are phenomenal! http://kilbournephoto.smugmug.com/gallery/4461486_7fH8D#262371746 When Big Stone Gap boomed in the 1890's - early 1900's, the iron ore, coal and land barons built their Victorian style homes here; obviously not to modern day code. Many of the trees that fell were grand monarchs over 100 years old - oaks & hickories fell like twigs. One can only imagine the damage an F5 would do, Debra --- avast! For most people, mountain-top removal mining is an abstraction but for those of us who have witnessed the destruction of a beloved mountain covered with sweet pine, towering oaks, and rusting rhododendron - it is devastating.' 1. [WVWYOMIN] Sally Williams
    2. Recent update from Sally Williams Lee Had my first treatment Monday. Laser beams come from 4 different angles from a machine that spins around the bed I lie on. So I am not inside a machine after all. I don't feel anything. The Dr. will meet with me every Monday (if a holiday, then Tuesday). There is a hard plastic that the head/neck lies on...terribly uncomfortable. Tuesday I asked if they could put a towel over it. They just replaced it with one a tiny bit softer. I had just given an American Flag program at one of the schools and I was so exhausted I dozed off during the treatment. But of course that is not difficult for me to do. I can fall asleep anywhere anytime in a matter of moments. Here I am yawning right now and have to leave in 1/2 hour for my next treatment. I need to move around so I don't go to sleep. Later, Sally and all those other nicknames. = **************The year's hottest artists on the red carpet at the Grammy Awards. Go to AOL Music. 1. [WVWYOMIN] Sally Williams
    2. Latest communications with Sally Williams. Lee Mon 02/04 A lady from Meals On Wheels came out and took my application. She said if my refrigerator or microwave ever go out that SMUD will give me a replacement free of charge. Also Rebuilding Together will send out retired people to put in a shower bar and shower mat, also free of charge. If I want a shower chair I just phone in and ask for it. They are very concerned with my safety and prefer I not cook. Within about 2 hours I had a call that "David will be delivering my frozen meals every Wed. between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. There is no charge but donations are accepted and $2 a day is recommended. Wed 02/06 At 1:45 I answer a knock at the door. So much for 830-930 delivery. There was David with 5 frozen dinners, 5 fruit, 5 servings of milk, 8 slices of bread and 4 pats of butter. Did I get shorted on bread and butter? David left a menu for the month. The 12th and 18th are holidays with no meal delivery. So I assume I'll only get 4 meals those weeks. I was so starved I heated the ham/yams dinner as soon as he was gone. The trays are twice the depth of an ordinary TV dinner but they are not filled with twice the food, ha ha. It was filling even without eating the fruit and milk. I've had better but of course I only tried the one dinner. I'm grateful to have these available and I like knowing I have something I can just pop into the microwave at anytime. I'd be especially grateful if I were unable to cook, which has happened on numerous occasions. When I go into my sleep modes I may only be awake 3 minutes. Many a time I awakened, went potty, popped a TV dinner into the microwave and was asleep again in less than three minutes. The next time I awakened I tried to stay awake long enough to eat. It doesn't always work that way though. This past week I had 2 1/2 wonderful days. I was alert, rested, eneregetic, etc. even had my hair done. Then the slump hit hard and fast. I went into my sleep mode again. It's like being in a semi-coma. Of course I missed appointments big time. What else when you sleep 23 of 24 hours, eat, then sleep another 11 hours, eat, then sleep another 7 hours. I know, some of you are saying to yourself "then don't eat". I've tried that too. It doesn't work. Well I didn't make a very good impression on the missionaries. I was taking them to dinner one night and of course I didn't show up. Here I am fighting sleep already so until next time. Sally and all the other names I'm known by. **************Biggest Grammy Award surprises of all time on AOL Music. 2. Lee, I talked with Ron Turner several years ago while he was still with United Airlines. I bought my book at that time. Looking at the book it shows he was in Manassas which is close to you right? I do like what I am reading and I can never thank you enough. Let me know if you want the address I have from his book.
