Message from Sally Williams. I recently had my annual mammogram and the results are "they found nothing abnormal". Then I had the colonoscopy. When they learned of my lung condition they decided not to fully sedate me. Then they learned it is very difficult to awaken me after sedation so they gave me "mild sedation". Well let me tell you! Mild is not enough! They say you won't remember anything that occured during or shortly after the procedure. Perhaps not if given the usual full sedation. But I squirm just remembering how I begged and pleaded to "Please stop. Please just stop". Needless to say they found a fairly large polyp and cut it out for a biopsy. The doctor just phoned a few minutes ago to say it was benign. However because of its type and its size and location it can become cancerous. Therefore I am to have another colonoscopy in one year as a follow up. Lucky me............otherwise I'm doing reasonably well as long as I don't have to exert myself. I went to the mall last week for a pair of shoes. I parked as close to the door as is possible. I had to stop and rest 3 times before I got to the door. I'm finding limits that I didn't have last year. Sally, Mom, Peanuts, Legs, Mudball, Sly Firefly, etc. = **************Gas prices getting you down? Search AOL Autos for fuel-efficient used cars. Carrol, starting at the intersection of Oceana/Kopperston road, go toward Kopperston on WV85 for 2.3 miles, then turn right onto Clear Fork road CR2. Go 4.9 miles up Clear Fork, then on the left is Crany. I'm sorry to say that all the strip mining & timbering that went on in that area has what was known as Crane Fork completely filled up with slate and sludge. It's totally unrecognizeable now. All the beauty and timber is gone. All is gone except for the Crany Missionary Baptist Church which stands at the foot of Crany and Clear Fork. Hope this helps.
