Robert EDELEN was an early settler in the Washington Bottom of Wood County. I am looking for the parents of John EDELEN who settled in Grayson County Kentucky. He seems to have appeared out of nowhere. The earliest record I have of him is in his father-in-law's will. Property is given to daughter Margaret NEALE wife of John EDELEN. His first two children were born in Maryland (1809 and 1811) later children born in Kentucky. Since Robert and John are contemporaries, who move west from Maryland I am thinking they could be brothers. At this point I am really grasping at straws to find a lead in breaking this "brick wall". How are your EDELENs and NEALEs related?
