I still seek more info on PETER SHEPPEARD, born in Scotland, who was in Wood Co. in the early 1800s, and/or his children, who include JAMES WILLIAM SHEPPEARD, his son and my G G Grandfather, b. WOOD CO March 21 1822 and married Nov 1843 at or near Parkersburg to RUTH LUCINDA PHELPS. I have a good deal on the Phelps clan but not on the SHEPPEARDS. The book in question can probably be purchased from Wes Cochran 2515 10th Avenue Parkersburg, WV 26101-5829. He has many publications for WV and OH.
