    2. Dear fellow WVWOOD-L users: Many of us would appreciate it so much if you would PLEASE USE YOUR SUBJECT LINE to say something about your specific query or contribution. (That's what subject lines are for, after all!) Some of us have slow e-mail programs and would much prefer not to have to open messages that are not relevant to us. It is a great time-saver when you put at least the family name(s) you're concerned with in the subject line. Period being researched is helpful also, i.e. early 19C, etc. Thanks.
