N. Wildt b in Baden, Germany Sept 27, 1827 d in Grafton, Illinois Oct 20 1905. He came to America with his parents at the age of 8years and lived in St. Louis up to the time of the Mexican war in which he served 2 years. He was married in May 10 1849 to Miss Catherine Scheffer, d Dec. 11, 1892. To this union wer born 12 children, 10 of whom survive him. He came to Illinois in 1857 and lived on a farm near Grafton until 1895, when he moved to the town of Grafton. Was married to Mrs. Anna M Noble August 15 1893, who survives him.
