They lived on one of the neighboring farms by my great-grdmother Anna Carson Gant Way and her 2nd husband William Taylor Way. The Stapletons are mentioned in a diary Anna kept the first year of her 2nd marriage. I also have a few pictures of some of the Stapletons in my collection.
